Sarah DaVanzo is the world’s first “Chief Curiosity Officer” and is an expert in amplifying curiosity and discovery through 10+ years and >10,000 hours of methodology research on curiosity cultivation, including a related Master’s degree. She has been applying, refining, and proving the effectiveness of Curious Innovation for over a decade inside some of the world's largest and most innovative corporations.
Sarah has optimized the techniques and tools used in the Curious Innovation approach through extensive primary research, dozens of experiments, and over 100 innovation sprints. In the process, Sarah has twice taken the stage at TEDx events to share her curiosity research.
She has held multiple global innovation roles with 25 years of experience across ten types of innovation: product, service, process, channel, brand, business model, network, structure, process, and marketing innovation. This includes innovation process improvement for megacorporations such as L’Oreal, PepsiCo, ABInBev, P&G, and Unilever.
A member of the Manhattan Inventor’s Association, Sarah herself has obtained three patents and contributed to two dozen corporate team patents.
She managed the innovation skunkworks for the world's largest gold company, AngloGold, and spearheaded the innovation practice of Ad Age's 2014 "Agency of the Year," Sparks & Honey. She has also worked with 3M and DARPA on innovations.

Her innovations have been named TIME Magazine and CES "Innovation of the Year" award winners, but beyond awards, they have scaled and continue to generate value. Her work has raised industry standards and spawned new ventures, brands, and categories.
Sarah's curious innovations have contributed more than $1 billion in revenue to the world.
She regularly publishes in Rolling Stone on the themes of innovation, curiosity, and futurecraft as a member of their Culture Council.
